This E-Stop Assessment Program is a result of Yarra Valley Water’s strategic focus on electrical safety and reliability of their assets. The program intends to perform Emergency Stop assessment on the water and sewer pump stations electrical assets and provide Yarra Valley Water with detailed tests and reports on each of these assets which include results and recommendations. The Program also include conducting the required modifications and upgrades to the Emergency Stop System to ensure compliance.
This RFT covers Packages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of YVW assets as detailed in the attached scope documents. These 6 packages will be either awarded to a single contractor or multi awarded with water (package 1, 3, 5) to one contractor and sewer (package 2, 4, 6) to another.
The Shortlisted contractors of this process will be also selected to bid for the next 14 packages (over 110 assets).
This project and its deliverables will directly enable Yarra Valley Water to ensure our facilities remain compliant with Australia Standards and OH&S requirements / legislation / acts and that the Emergency stop system are reliably operating and ensuring the safety of our community and customers.

This Electrical Condition Assessment Program is a result of Yarra Valley Water’s strong focus on electrical safety and reliability. The program intends to assess the water and sewer electrical assets and Switchboards and to provide Yarra Valley Water with detailed tests and reports for each of these assets. This project will be used to ascertain next step in either repairing or replacement of Electrical Switchboards and ancillary equipment at the specified Facility.
This RFQ covers Packages 3,4,5 and 6 of YVW assets as detailed in the attached scope documents. These 4 packages will be either awarded to a single contractor or multi awarded with water (package 3 and 5) to one contractor and sewer (package 4 and 6) to another.
The Shortlisted contractors of this process will be also selected to bid for the next 13 packages (over 100 assets).
This project and its deliverables will directly enable Yarra Valley Water to make informed decisions and ensure our facilities remain compliant with Australia Standards and OH&S requirements / legislation / acts. This will ensure that our Electrical Switchboards and ancillary equipment are safe to operate and will continue to service our customers reliably.
