  The Horsham Rural City Council owns and is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of footpaths, kerb, channel, pram crossings and various concrete structures.  These require maintenance, alteration and repair throughout their lives. 

  Council is seeking to engage a panel of appropriately qualified and skilled contractors to undertake works on behalf of Council.

  This contract will be awarded for an initial three (3) year period with options of a further two (2), one (1) year terms, to be offered at the sole discretion Council.

  At completion of the first anniversary of the Contract, the Contract Supervisor will undertake a performance review. If the services provided by the Contractor do not meet the requirements of the contract and repeated non-compliances have not been rectified, Council reserves the right to terminate the contract.

  Works under this contract are not quantified or guaranteed and Council reserves the right to undertake concreting works using its own teams and equipment.

  ENGAGEMENT OF A CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP CONCEPT PLANS

  CITY TO RIVER PROJECT STAGE ONE (1)

   

  Contract No: 20/029

  Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC) seeks to engage a consultant to develop Concept Plans (Part A) and Construction Plans (Part B) under the City to River Project Stage One – Sub precinct Riverfront Activation.

  Council is planning for the longterm future of the Wimmera River Precinct and Central Activities District (CAD). The aim is to transform and revitalise the area to make it a more attractive place to live, work, visit and invest in.

  This project forms part of Transforming Horsham, a suite of projects being undertaken concurrently by Council with a view to creating a brighter future for Horsham over the coming decades. Transforming Horsham is about imagining together, talking together, working together and moving forward together.

  The consultant brief includes the development of concept design, working closely with Council staff to amend proposed plans, the engagement of a Quantity Surveyor on proposed concept design and detailed construction drawings for tender. Development of construction drawings and preparation of Tender documentation may be offered under party B of the project.

  The delivery of this project is segregated in two parts:

  Part A – Development of Drafts and Final Concept Plans, quantified by Quantity Surveyor against proposed concept plans, Community and Internal Consultation will be done by others.

  Part B – Development of Construction Drawings and specification documentation for tender.

  Council may elect to engage a consultant to deliver Part A of the project only and is not obligated to commit to the delivery of Part B of the project.

  The delivery of Part B of the project does not form part of this contract. Should Council determine to proceed with Part B of the project, the existing consultant may be offered an extension to the contract, however Council is not bound to appoint the existing consultant and may elect to go back to the market seeking a consultant to delivery Part B of the project.

  SUPPLY AND REPLACE RUBBER CONCOURSE - HORSHAM AQUATIC CENTRE INDOOR POOL

  Horsham Rural City Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the supply and installation of new rubber around the concourse of Horsham’s Aquatic Centre Indoor Pool.

  Associated works include removal of fixed items on the rubber flooring, removal of existing rubber flooring, disposal of old rubber, preparation of sub-surface and installation of new rubber flooring.

  Works are expected to commence 20 July 2020 and be completed by 8 August 2020.

  A compulsory site meeting will be held Friday 28 February 2020 commencing at 1:00 pm, Horsham Aquatic Centre, 53 Hamilton Street, Horsham.

  Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC) is seeking a panel of preferred suppliers for the supply of tyres, rims, batteries and associated fitting and repair services to its entire fleet or two-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and plant (including but not limited to light, medium and heavy trucks, floats, various trailers, tractors, graders and wheeled loaders). HRCC prefers suppliers who are able to provide storage of second hand tyres (run outs).

  
  Horsham Rural City Council is seeking a panel of preferred suppliers for the supply of tyres, rims, batteries and associated services to its entire plant and fleet including but not limited to:

  a) two wheel drive;
  b) all-wheel drive;
  c) four wheel drive cars;
  d) and utilities,

  and plant including but not limited to:

  e) Heavy Trucks
  f) Medium Trucks
  g) Light Trucks
  h) Garbage Trucks
  i) Heavy Trailers and Fuel Tanks.

  This contract is for a standing offer to supply goods and services to Horsham Rural City Council.

  A minimum level of products or services under this Contract are not guaranteed.

  The first term of this contract will be for two (2) years with two (2) optional terms of two (2) years each.
