  Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors for the construction of the redevelopment for stage one for the Early Childhood Intervention Centre at 1 Kalparrin Avenue, Greensborough.

  The works will generally be the redevelopment of the existing facility including all associated services. The jobs are generally incorporated in the Plans and Specifications which include but not limited to the following: 

  • Preparation of site area as the Centre will not be operational during redevelopment works for stage 1, but the contractor has to protect & secure the remainder of the site by Plywood hoarding during the building works.
  • Demolition works for some partitions, windows, doors & external walls as shown in the architectural & Structural drawings.
  • Build additional new main entrance, therapy rooms, hall, rotating the stair to the storeroom in level 1, adding new air conditions for the existing rooms, & kitchenette in the hall, plus a pitched roof, foundation work for Air conditioning works.
  • Removal of the Asbestos as shown in the Asbestos report.
  • All wall partitions of the therapy rooms to have soundproof plasterboard & insulation
  • All flooring of stage 1 will be replaced with vinyl & Carpet as shown in the architectural drawing no WD1.6.
  • The contractor will maintain access to the rear garden during construction works.
  • Anew NBN pit has been installed next to the proposed fire hose reel, the contractor has to take during excavation works to install the fire pipe, to avoid any damage to the NBN services.

  The Initial Contract Term shall be for a maximum initial period of 1 year with the option to extend for further periods of any duration up to a maximum extension period of 3 years at Councils discretion.

  Please note: Contract AS4919 will be issued as an Addendum.

  This Tender covers the following requirements: 

  • Council’s proposed 2020/24 residential street program for re-sheets, rehabilitations and Roads to Recovery works (subject to price variation in accordance with for years 2-4 as per Section 199 of VicRoads Standard Specification).

  A list of proposed residential streets for each financial year is attached for information and logistical planning purposes.

  • Asphalting and rotomilling works at single locations such as roundabouts, car parks and right of ways throughout the Municipality (Schedule of Rates).
  • Supply of hot asphalt ex bin (Schedule of Rates).
  • Supply and associated laying works for hot & light mixed asphalt – quantities over 100 tonnes (Schedule of Rates).
  • Asphalting works at single locations, < 50 tonnes and 50 -100 tonnes (Schedule of Rates)
  • Asphalt patching (Schedule of Rates).
  • Traffic Management (Schedule of Rates).
  • Hire Rates for equipment (Schedule of Rates).

  Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors for the construction of the refurbishment works at Willinda Park Pavilion, located at 21A Talbot Street, Greensborough 3088.

  As part of the Banyule City Council’s Capital Works Programme for the year 2019-20, Council is planning to undertake the refurbishment works at Willinda Park Pavilion (21A Talbot Street, Greensborough VIC 3088).

  The scope of works is generally as depicted in the attached documentation and includes but is not limited to construction activities involving:

  • Umpires changeroom
